COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The case of a Coldwater man who is facing six charges in connection with an alleged violent domestic dispute with a female acquaintance in late March has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
48-year-old Christpher Covey waived his Branch County District Court preliminary exam which was scheduled for Wednesday. He is scheduled to appear for a Circuit Court pre-trial conference May 13, 2019.
Among the counts he is facing is assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, unlawful imprisonment, aggravated domestic violence and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Covey was arrested followed a Coldwater Police Department Investigation.
