THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two suspects have been arrested after a Wednesday morning drug bust in Three Rivers.
The federal investigation conducted by the Southwest Enforcement Team (South Team) and Drug Enforcement Agency culminated with the execution a search
warrant in the 100 block of West Kelsey Street.
Detectives from SWET South, along with detectives from SWET East, the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s office and the White Pigeon PD K9 conducted the search warrant. They were assisted by uniformed officers from the Michigan State Police and the Three Rivers police department.
After entering the residence, they located two adult males, three adult females and two children under five years old.
During the search, detectives located crack cocaine and heroin. The two adult males, both from Three Rivers, were arrested on outstand warrants and lodged at the St. Joseph County jail.
Child Protective Services was notified because of the illegal drugs found in an area of the house accessible to children.
This case will be forwarded to US attorney’s office once laboratory results are obtained.
