COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The ninth annual Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence “Walk A Mile In Their Shoes” will take place next Saturday, April 27, at the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center in Coldwater.
The event is a fundraiser for the coalition which provides assistance and support for domestic and sexual violence survivors.
Activities will start at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K run and walk.
There will also be a pancake breakfast, a chicken BBQ, a silent auction and kids activities.
The march and dog walk which features men wearing women’s shoes will start at 10:30 a.m..
The event is held in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month along with Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month.
