COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A major part of the proposed Four Corners Park redevelopment project in downtown Coldwater will be the construction of a bandshell.
City Manager Keith Baker says a band shell is the number one item because of all of the events that take place downtown.
The proposed bandshell would be in the southwest corner park near the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Baker says the band shell would be one of the higher ticket items and they will be seeking private donations and financial help from local service clubs.
Depending on the next fiscal year’s budget, work on the proposed project could start this fall.
The last renovation of the Four Corners Park took place in the early 1970’s as part of urban renewal.
