CROOKED LAKE, IN (WTVB) – Residents of a Steuben County lake are on edge after a number of suspicious activity complaints have been reported to law enforcement officials.
This has prompted the Crooked Lake Association to schedule a “Suspicious Activity Meeting” for this Thursday evening.
Organizers are asking residents to come to the meeting if they have information about any criminal activity on the lake.
Lake Association Board members will be on hand to collect information. Those planning to attend are asked to message the Association on their Facebook page.
Residents are on the lookout for a green truck with a large amount of tires in the bed that has been spotted near several properties acting in an unusual and suspicious manner.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department has been notified about the incidents.
