COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission has announced that the seasonal weight restrictions that went into effect March 11 will be lifted Monday, April 1 at 6:00 a.m..
When the weight restrictions are put into place every spring, maximum allowable axles loading on all county roads is strictly enforced.
The Road Commission asks that normal legal loads be reduced by 35 percent on paved roads and 25 percent on concrete roads for all non-exempt vehicles.
Those who violate the weight restrictions are given a ticket. A list of “All Season Roads” is available from the Branch County Road Commission office.
