COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be observing Vietnam Veteran’s Day Friday morning.
Vietnam Veterans are asked to join them for a flag raising and short program Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Branch County Courthouse flagpole.
Lapel pins will be given thru the commemorative partner program www.VietnamWar50th.com. The public is encouraged to attend.
President Trump in 2017 signed into law that the Vietnam Veteran’s Day shall be observed on March 29 as a way to thank and honor veterans of that war. This date will be celebrated until November 11, 2025.
The Coldwater Chapter of the D.A.R. is one of over 11,000 organizations around the country who are taking part in this program.
