COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Health Partners will begin its survey of Branch County residents next week as part of a community health assessment process.
The partnership is composed of many public and private agencies that make up the public health system in Branch County.
The group is working with the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio and researchers at the University of Toledo to conduct the survey of over 1,200 randomly selected Branch County residents which will be conducted over the next two months.
The anonymous survey asks participants to answer questions about general health, risk and protective health factors, and access to health care. Survey answers will help create a snapshot of the health of Branch County residents.
The final community health assessment report will be published this fall at which time the results will be used to prioritize needs and create a community health improvement plan.
The partners include: ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital, Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency, First Presbyterian Church Health Clinic of Branch County, Branch County Commission on Aging, Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Pines Behavioral Health Services, Branch ISD, Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Branch County Community Foundation, Branch County Economic Growth Alliance, ProMedica Patient Family Advisory Council, Coldwater Police Department, Village of Quincy, Beginnings Care for Life Center, City of Coldwater, Adapt, Inc., The Laurels of Coldwater, and ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital Foundation.
