STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School girls varsity soccer team snapped a three game losing streak with a 1-0 win at Sturgis Friday night.
The Lady Cardinals dominated possession and outshot Sturgis 22-2, but got the only goal on the game from Marissa Cox, assisted by Cara Miller, with 16 seconds to play in the first half.
Taylor Robinson only had to make one save in goal to earn the shutout, as the Lady Cardinals improved to 2-3 on the season. They will host Hastings to begin Interstate 8 Conference Wednesday.
