LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Extended Benefits unemployment program ends this weekend, but state officials say it’s due to lower unemployment rates in Michigan, and employers are saying that job seekers will find a bountiful market.
It is anticipated that workers who have been receiving the benefits will now re-enter the job market, and some staffing companies say that the number of available positions has never been better.
The number of jobless claims in the US dropped last month.
