COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man who was arrested two weeks ago in connection with BB gun incidents over the last couple of months in Coldwater and Quincy was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon on five new charges.
A Branch County District Court spokesperson says prosecutors have filed three counts of receiving and concealing stolen property and two counts of second degree home invasion against 44-year-old Ricky Cox.
The spokesperson said even more charges could be filed against Cox Wednesday.
Cox was arrested following an investigation by police in Coldwater and Quincy as well as the Michigan State Police.
He was originally charged with malicious destruction of a building and malicious destruction of personal property between $1,000 and $20,000.
Bond in the original cases had been set at a total of $100,000.
City Glass of Coldwater reported recently they have had to make at least $25,000 worth of repairs in connection with the vandalism incidents.
