COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys swim and dive team held their last dual meet of the year Monday night at the Browne Aquatic Center. The Cards hosted a double dual meet against Sturgis and Charlotte. Coldwater won against Charlotte, 108-74 but lost a heartbreaker to Sturgis, 92-94.
It was also Coldwater’s Senior night where we honored Kyle Krzyzanski, Dan Dymond, Josh Rowlson, Rando Vanko and David Droessler.
Two team records were broken Monday too. The 200 Freestyle Relay was broken by Cole Neitzka, Jacob Taylor, Josh Rowlson, and Kyle Krzyzanski. The 1 meter dive record was broken by Cole Neitzka as well.
Also Monday night, Neitzka qualified for the dive regionals with his wins in diving against Sturgis and Charlotte.
The swim and dive team with be at their Conference Championship at Portage Central Friday.
