UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Union City is now accepting sealed bids for its 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe retired police vehicle. The Tahoe has about 100,000 on it but it has a blown cylinder and needs repair.Otherwise is in working order with very regular maintenance and upkeep.
Sealed bids are due by 9:00 a.m. on March eighth at the Village Office on South Broadway. They will be opened an hour later in the fire hall meeting room and the public is invited to attend. There is no minimum bid amount.
The bid must include the bidders name, address, and telephone number and it must be legible.
The Village of Union City reserves the right to waive any bid that it determines in its sole discretion has irregularities. The winning bidder will be the highest accepted bid. The winning bidder must claim the vehicle within 14 days of notification.
The vehicle is currently at the Department Public Works on Coldwater Road and can be viewed during business hours.
