COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Schools of Hope program has received a substantial donation thanks to the Rosenberg Family Endowment Fund, which is a fund within the Branch County Community Foundation.
During 2018, the Coldwater Schools of Hope Fund was able to raise $4,500 and in return, the Rosenberg Family Endowment Fund made a matching grant for $4,500.
The grant was made in memory of the late Phyllis Rosenberg, who was the director of the Branch District Library System.
The Coldwater Schools of Hope program is operated by volunteer tutors who read with children at Jefferson Elementary, with assistance from the Kiwanis Club of Coldwater.
They are always looking for volunteers. If you’re interested, please contact Mark Ott at ottkote@charter.net.
