CLINTON, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy High School basketball games that were called off Tuesday night were made up Wednesday, and it was a tough night for the Orioles.
The Quincy boys dropped their second straight as they lost at Clinton 61-35. Clinton hit 12 3-pointers to doom the Orioles. Quincy was led by William Dunn with 19 points. The Orioles are now 14-2.
Reading defeated Quincy in the girls game 49-45. Hannah Clark led the Orioles with 13 points while Madison Hinds had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Katie Rathbun had nine points and six assists. Jessica Holcomb recorded four steals. Quincy drops to 7-8 overall and 3-7 in the Big 8.
For a second straight night Wednesday, the bad weather and driving conditions scrubbed all of the Coldwater High School basketball games against Jackson Northwest which forced several changes to the Cardinals athletic schedule.
The Varsity Girls Basketball game has been moved to Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Coach Floyd Eby gymnasium in Coldwater. We’ll cover that game on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB as well as on line at www.wtvbam.com.
The varsity boys basketball game will be played Thursday night at about 7:00 p.m. at Northwest. The varsity game will follow freshman and JV games between Northwest and Hastings.
The girls & boys freshman and JV basketball games against Pennfield that were originally scheduled for Thursday night have been postponed to Saturday morning.
The boys will play at Pennfield while the girls will play in Coldwater. At both locations, the freshman games will start at 10:00 a.m. while the JV’s will start at around 11:30 a.m.. The freshman and JV basketball games with Northwest for both boys and girls that were scheduled for this week will not be made up.

Coldwater’s senior night meet with Charlotte and Sturgis was postponed until 6:00 p.m. Monday night at the Browne Aquatic Center.
