COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For almost 20 years, Coldwater Early Bird Exchange members have taken part in the club’s Valentine’s Day project, which was held again yesterday for the benefit of hospice patients and veterans in Branch County.
The club purchases food items while members bring in fresh fruit, candy, and Valentine’s cards for the recipients. This year, the club prepared 60 bags, each of which also included a whole chicken.
17 bags went to hospice patients, 30 were delivered to the Branch County Veteran Affairs Department, and 13 were taken to the VFW hall in Union City.
