COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For a second straight night, the bad weather has scrubbed all of the Coldwater High School basketball games against Jackson Northwest, which has forced several changes to the Cardinal’s athletic schedule.
The varsity girls basketball game has been moved to Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Coach Floyd Eby gymnasium in Coldwater.
The varsity boys basketball game will be played Thursday night at about 7:00 p.m. at Jackson Northwest, following freshman and junior varsity games between Northwest and Hastings.
The girls & boys freshman and junior varsity basketball games against Pennfield that were originally scheduled for Thursday night have been postponed until Saturday morning.
The boys will play at Pennfield, while the girls will play in Coldwater. At both locations, the freshman games will start at 10:00 a.m. while the junior varsity games will start at around 11:30 a.m..
The freshman and JV basketball games with Northwest for both boys and girls that were scheduled for this week will not be made up.
In addition, the Coldwater boys swim meet against Charlotte and Sturgis has been postponed to Monday night at 6:00 p.m..
