UPDATE: Varsity games have been postponed until Thursday
COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The entire Branch County high school sports schedule for Tuesday fell victim to the ice storm.
That included the Coldwater and Jackson Northwest boys and girls basketball games which were postponed for 24 hours. The girls game at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium will be a battle for first place in the Interstate 8 Conference with Coldwater holding a one game lead over the Mounties after the Cardinals won at Northwest last month.
The freshman games starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by the J.V. game at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity contest at 7:00 p.m.. Coverage on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 and on line at www.wtvbam.com starts at 6:45 p.m..
The Coldwater boys play at Northwest as they will attempt to bounce back from last Friday’s tough loss at Parma Western which dropped the Cardinals into second place in the I-8. The boys tripleheader at Northwest starts at 4:00 p.m..
