BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Firefighters from the Bronson Fire Department quickly put out a fire Wednesday afternoon which broke out around a chimney in a Matteson Township home’s attic.
They were dispatched to 507 Farrand Road just before 4:30 p.m..
After they put out the fire, Bronson crews covered furniture and other items with tarps to reduce water damage.
They were on the scene for about two hours.
LifeCare Ambulance and the Branch County Sheriff’s Department also responded.
Damages were estimated at about $1,500. No injuries were reported.
