UPDATE: The Coldwater City Council meeting Monday has been cancelled.
COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that three condemned homes have been demolished in the past couple of months, with another one at 84 Pierce Street scheduled to be demolished in the next couple of weeks.
Baker says the homes at 29 Lawton Avenue, 41 Lucky Drive and 105 East Washington was evaluated for asbestos and abated accordingly. He says the sites will be final graded, seeded and restored in the spring once weather permits.
According to Baker, Davenport Excavating was the local contractor who conducted the work.
