BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Fire Department has announced they have received donated funds in the memory of Bill Ward, Jo Anne O’Rourke, and Anna Sosinski.
Department officials say the funds will be used to build a roof training prop at the department’s training facility which will give firefighters the ability to practice roof operations.
They say increased proficiency in firefighting skills will help keep the public safe.
Neighboring fire departments will utilize the training center as well.
It will also be used to help teach new firefighters attending Branch County’s training academy.
