COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A special meeting of the Coldwater School Board has been scheduled for Tuesday as the board is scheduled to consider and approve bids for the Legg Middle School renovation project and any other business deemed necessary.
Tuesday night’s meeting starts at 6:00 p.m..
Coldwater Community Schools Superintendent Terri Boguth said at last month’s Board of Education meeting that the project is expected to cover two summers.
The first part of the work in June 2019 calls for the replacement of HVAC ventilators in the seventh and eighth grade portion of the building. The rest of the work will be done the following summer.
Bids for the new fourth and fifth grade building that will be constructed on Western Avenue across from Legg Middle School are scheduled to go this month. District voters approved a millage for the new building in November 2017.
