COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – -It took awhile to get here but winter weather finally arrived over the weekend.
About two to three inches of snow fell in our area Saturday afternoon and evening with heavier amounts reported to the south.
About four inches of snow fell in the Fort Wayne area while Indianapolis reported nearly eight inches of snow.
It’s also the coldest morning of the winter with temperatures in the single digits.
The National Weather Service say a winter storm could impact the local area Friday night through early Sunday with heavy snow and blowing snow. Very cold arctic air could follow the snow storm.
