BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Jan Byler was selected as the new President of the Bronson Community Schools Board of Education Monday night during the board’s organizational meeting.
Byler takes over the position from Deb Balowski, who lost her seat on the school board to Brenda Kelly in the November 2018 election.
Byler previously served as the board Vice-President. That position will now be handled by Mike Roberts.
Lorinda Ratkowski was once again chosen as secretary while Dennis Sikorski was remain as the board treasurer.
The board also agreed to continue meeting on the first Monday of the month except on April 8 due to spring break and August 12 in order to avoid a conflict with the Branch County Fair.
