COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Substance Abuse Task Force will be hosting a training session later this month for community members and professionals on understanding opioid use disorder.
Dr. Bruce Springer will be conducting the two hour session at Pines Behavioral Health on Vista Drive in Coldwater Thursday, January 24, 2019 starting at 6:00 p.m..
Topics will include recognizing addiction as a chronic illness and how prescription opiates and heroin affect the brain as well as understanding treatment options.
