COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency said on Monday there have been two more COVID-19 related deaths in St. Joseph County which brought the county’s death toll up to nine.
For a third straight day, there were no new reported cases in Branch County as the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began remained at 331.
Two new cases were reported in St. Joseph County. That county has the most COVID-19 cases in the C.H.A.jurisdiction with 518.
Hillsdale County now has 251 cases after four new cases were reported on Monday.
The Calhoun County Public Health Department reported its first COVID-19 related death since July 29 Monday which brought the death toll up to 41. The Health Department says there have been 697 coronavirus cases with 14 new cases reported on Monday. Of the 111 persons who required hospitalization, four were in a Calhoun County medical care facility Monday.
