COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater and the Coldwater B.P.U. will soon have more cameras in addition to ones on top of the Branch District Library and in Heritage Park.
City Manager Keith Baker told the Coldwater City Council on Monday night that they are installing the cameras on the Bishop Avenue water tower that will be able to pan across the new Lakeland elementary school and Heritage Park.
In addition, a camera will be installed on the North Willowbrook Drive water tower which will be able to show the I-69 and U.S. 12 interchange and surrounding area.
Baker added a camera has been installed on South Monroe Street to view the street and special events that take place downtown.
Coldwater’s web camera in the downtown area now provides a sharper and clearer picture after it was recently upgraded with fiber optics.
