Quincy boys golf team win Big 8 Jamboree at CGC on tiebreaker

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Quincy finished first in the Big 8 Conference Jamboree they hosted on Wednesday at the Coldwater Golf Course.

Quincy and Springport tied for first at 195 so the fifth score tiebreaker had to be used to determine the winner of the meet.

Quincy broke the tie with a 53 to Springport’s 57.

Quincy leads the conference standings following Wednesday’s win.

Sam Sawyer led Quincy with a round of 44 while Brandt Neely and Derrek Newberry had rounds of 49. Tyler Saterlee and Dave Milliman both carded 53’s.
