QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Community Schools has posted its tentative plan for a return to learning as students are scheduled to resume classes August 24.
Superintendent Marc Kramer says the plan was developed with input from the back to school committee that consisted of members from various stakeholder groups including parents, teachers, technology, school board members, building administrators, food service, bus drivers, and department supervisors.
It details various scenarios depending on which stage Branch County is in under the state’s reopening plan.
Kramer said during the Quincy School Board meeting July 20 that the plan was developed with the hope there would be at least partial face-to-face learning when the school year starts.

Under state guidelines, all school district plans must be approved by local school boards. The Quincy Board of Education will hold a special virtual meeting at 7:00 p.m. Monday night in regards to the proposed plan.
