COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Plans for “Hops on Monroe” in downtown Coldwater were discussed during Wednesday’s Downtown Development Authority meeting.
The new event will be held on Thursday evenings between August 6 and September 3 along South Monroe Street.
“Hops on Monroe” will offer yard games, food trucks, entertainment in the form of acoustic music and craft beers between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m..
Courtney Dirschell from Second Story Marketing, which is organizing the event, said the city wanted to put on something that would attract “20 to 40 somethings”.
“Hops on Monroe” was originally scheduled to take place in July but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly event was moved to August.
