UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Sixty-five members of the Union City High School Class of 2020 received diplomas Friday night during a quartet of mini graduation ceremonies at Alumni Field. Officials opted to move away from one large ceremony in an effort to keep the number of people on campus at or below state-mandated limits during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Eight students were named Co-Valedictorians: James Bigelow, Kaitlyn Brinkman, Zachary Davis, Alison Harvey, Payton James, Lyndsey Katz, Ashley Mack, and Avery Stuart. Tate Herman was the Salutatorian.
All four ceremonies were livestreamed via Facebook Live, and can be viewed again on the district’s Facebook page.
Graduation ceremonies for Coldwater and Quincy are scheduled for Sunday, August 2nd.
