UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Administrators at Union City High School are making changes to their upcoming graduation ceremony, to keep the amount of people on campus at or below state mandated limits.
According to Principal Amber Case, the school has decided to split their commencement exercises into four smaller ceremonies on Friday, July 17th, at 6, 6:45, 7:30 and 8:15 p.m.
Case says that they gave the graduates the option to choose the time slot they preferred.
Graduation rehearsal will take place Thursday, July 16th at 5:30 p.m. at the Union City Church of God, and graduates will receive four tickets for guests to attend their selected ceremony.
All guests and graduates are being asked to wear masks and practice proper social distancing guidelines.
