COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Latest statistics from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency show that the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Branch County involve those under the age of 50.
Of the 249 cases that have been reported through Wednesday in Branch County, 99 were in the 25 to 39 year old age group followed by 50 in those between the ages of 40 and 49 and 33 in those between 18 and 24.
55 cases have been reported for those 50 and older including 30 for residents in their fifties.
Statistics also showed that 180 men have tested positive for the virus compared to 69 women.
When the virus is broken down by Branch County zip codes, 179 cases have been reported in the Coldwater zip code of 49036 while 35 have been reported in the Bronson area zip code of 49028 and 20 have been reported in the Quincy area zip code of 49082.
