COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency and Revolution Health PC of Sturgis are telling anyone who sought care at RHP on June 19 that they should monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 as a staff member at RHP has tested positive for the virus.
Any patients who had close contact with a staff member at RHP on June 19th and either the patient or staff member were not wearing a mask are further asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Patients seen by the ill provider have been contacted by the practice and instructed to quarantine for the next two weeks.
C.H.A. Health Officer Rebecca Burns says “wearing a mask is the best thing that everyone can do, even when seeing a medical provider, to minimize transmission of COVID-19.”
The C.H.A. is asking anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 to get tested.
People who are concerned that they may have COVID-19 should contact their healthcare provider and call ahead before visiting any healthcare facility.
For additional information, contact your local health department office, visit www.bhsj.org or follow the C.H.A. on their Facebook page.
