ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The Angola Police Department is reminding the public and businesses to use caution when accepting cash as payment.
They say there has been an increase recently in counterfeit currancy involving several denominations.
Businesses have been told that if they are in doubt, do not accept the payment and ask the customer to provide a different source of payment.
If a counterfeit bill is produced, call your nearest law enforcement agency.
