(BRANCH COUNTY, MI) – The Branch District Library has announced they are delaying curbside pickup slightly due to the severe weather that went through Branch County last week and the lack of power at the Bronson branch.
The library will be accepting appointments for curbside pickup starting on Tuesday.
You can place holds online now at www.branchdistrictlibrary.org/catalog or by phone starting on Monday.
In addition, library drop boxes are open at all six branches so you can bring back your books, movies, or magazines.
Library officials say they have around 2,000 items still out around Branch County and they will be quarantining returns for 72 hours before they go back into circulation.
Following the lifting of the Governor’s Stay at Home order, library staff returned to buildings last Monday.
Even though curbside pickup is resuming this week, the library branches are still be closed to the public. The public will have limited access in Stage Five.
