COLDWATER, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – The Capri Drive-In west of Coldwater will be among 300 drive-in theaters across North America that will be showing a live performance by Garth Brooks June 27.
It is being called one of the nation’s biggest concert events since the COVID-19 pandemic struck.
The Capri will be among eight theaters in Michigan participating in the event including Dearborn’s Ford Wyoming Drive-In and the US-23 Drive-In in Flint along with theaters in Manistique, Carsonville, Dowagiac, Hartford and Muskegon.
Producers say social distancing measures will be in place and the show will begin at dusk, rain or shine.
Tickets go on sale June 19 at noon.
