BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek will be closed to the public Thursday and Friday due to what officials say was significant damage suffered to some animal exhibits and guest areas during Wednesday’s storms.
According to a post on the zoo’s Facebook page, the staff and animals are all safe.
They are asking for patience from the public as they work to clean up, assess and repair damage to the park and restore power and communication.
