JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Coldwater track teams posted wins over Jackson Lumen Christi in an Interstate 8 dual meet on Tuesday.
The boys won 88 1/2 to 63 1/2 while the girls posted a 71-46 victory.
Coldwater winners in the boys meet were Gavin Budd (100), Garrett Thorne (200), Myron Lafty (1600), Jerron Herlan (300 hurdles), Kenny Cramer (shot put), Zach Coffing (discus), Hunter Munson (pole vault) and Deandre Douglas (long jump). Coldwater won the 400, 800 and 1600 relays.
Coming in first place for Coldwater in the girls meet were Kendyll Szafranski (100 and long jump), Chloe Schaale (200), Sarah Forrister (100 hurdles), Anna DeMeester (shot put and discus) and Avery Boyce (pole vault)
