BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department reported two more COVID-19 related deaths on Friday.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports one was a elderly person with other health conditions.
Three deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported in Calhoun County this week which brought the death toll since the outbreak started up to 25.
As of Friday afternoon, there has been 406 positive coronavirus cases in Calhoun County. Of the 77 requiring hospitalization, eight were in a Calhoun County medical facility on Friday.
Statewide, there have been a total of 58,525 confirmed COVID-19 cases which has led to 5,616 deaths. As of Saturday, there had been 42,041 persons who have recovered from the virus.
