MARENGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – Authorities have released the name of the man killed late Monday night east of Marshall.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports 24-year-old Jesse Fyffe was found shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He lived in Lansing but was originally from Albion.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department detectives believe Fyffe was shot when there was a confrontation during an attempted break in.
Two others were shot during the incident which is still being investigated.
