BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – FireKeepers Casino Hotel announced on Tuesday they will reopen to the public on Monday, June 1 at 11 a.m. with a full series of safety measures in place that officials say will solely focused on creating a safe environment for guests and Team Members.
Firekeepers closed on March 16 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, throwing nearly 1,800 employees out of work.
Firekeepers CEO Kathy George says they have worked diligently during the past few weeks in every area of the casino and hotel to develop strategies to safely operate.
The casino is asking you to do not visit them if you have a fever, if you are not feeling well, have recently traveled outside of the U.S., or have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
Other safety measures call for social distancing, the wearing of masks by every one and sympton scans.

FireKeepers does not fall under the jurisdiction of Governor Whitmer’s Stay Home executive orders since it is owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi and is one of 23 American Indian tribal casinos in Michigan.
