COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the biggest events for Coldwater High School seniors and their parents had a different look this year, as its annual Local Scholarship Night was presented via Facebook Live Friday night due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Over $227,000 in scholarships were awarded to 56 Coldwater High School seniors, 5 Early Middle College students, and 17 CHS alumni in their pursuit of higher educational goals.
The scholarships were made possible through the generosity of Coldwater families, local chapters of Branch County service clubs and organizations, Century Bank and Trust, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, the Branch County Community Foundation, the Branch Area Careers Center and Coldwater Community Schools.
