LeRoy E. Plettner, 91, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. He was born November 27, 1929 in Quincy to William and Wellida (Gordon) Plettner. He married Jean VanBlarcom and she preceded him in death in 2019.
LeRoy attended Coldwater Schools. He was retired from Eaton Manufacturing in Battle Creek where he worked as a machinist for 30 years.
Survivors include his children, Edwin (Cindy) Plettner of Garden, MI, Richard (Loraine) Plettner of Sarasota, FL and Vickie Cunningham of Denver, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Plettner; sister, Carla Yuhl; and brother-in-law, Ernie Yuhl.
Graveside services for LeRoy Plettner will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy with Pastor Jeff Bream officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George Chapel in Quincy.
