COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 19-year-old suspect was arraigned on three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct during a virtual arraignment Friday in Branch County District Court.
Berlin Frederick Hasch III, who has a listed address of Angola, Indiana, was charged following a Michigan State Police investigation into alleged incidents involving an 11-year-old child between October of 2019 and this past January.
Three seperate cases were filed by Branch County Prosecutors following the State Police investigation.
Bond during Hasch’s arraignment last Friday was set at $250,000.
He is scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing May 28.
A preliminary exam in District Court was scheduled for June 3, 2020.
