NORTH WEBSTER, IN (WTVB) – First it was unseasonably cold temperatures, now it’s soggy weather.
Mother Nature is certainly trying to patience of local residents who have a lot more things than the weather to worry about these days.
After many areas reported between one and two inches of rain Thursday night and Friday morning, the National Weather Service says another weather system will bring more rain on Saturday night and Sunday, with showers lingering into Monday.
Rain will become moderate to heavy at times, particularly through the day Sunday.
Storm total rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts are expected, especially over Michigan, far northeast Indiana, and northwest Ohio.
Minor areal and river flooding is possible. People living in flood prone locations should closely monitor forecasts this week.
