BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council approved an amended purchase agreement and a resolution on Monday night for the sale of two pieces of property where a future assisted living facility will be located.
The City approved the sale of a two acre parcel to Ray and Julia Skaggs last year for the proposed Skaggs Assisted Living facility at the corner of Rudd and Ruggles.
City Manager Brandon Mersman said in order to get 2.36 acres of additional property included, the developer paid for a property survey for the additional land.
They hope to develop the second phase of their project on this property with an additional building in the future.
Mersman says the sale of the two pieces of property is contingent upon site plan approval from the Planning Commission during their meeting on May 19.
The first phase of the project would include a 20-bed assisted living facility.
