STURGIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — St. Joseph County Sheriff deputies are searching for a suspect who took over $1,000 worth of merchandise from a sporting goods store near Sturgis.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. Monday at the Dunham’s Sports located in the 69,000 block of M-66, south of Chicago Road.
Employees say the suspect entered the store and began loading a shopping cart with Nike apparel before pushing the cart out of the store without paying.
The thief was wearing a light blue hoodie and entered a late 2000 tan Ford taurus which had dents in the driver’s side and red tape over the driver’s side tail light.
