SPRINGPORT, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy boys golf team finished second at the Springport Jamboree on Monday but they still maintained a slight lead in the Big 8 Conference standings over the host Spartans.
Springport won Monday’s meet with a score of 196 followed by the Orioles with a score of 211.
Brandt Neely led the way for Quincy with a score of 49.
Tyler Saterlee fired a 53, Michael Bostic carded a 54 and Brodie Mainstone had a 55.
Bronson was fourth in the final team standings while Union City was seventh.
Union City’s Brayton Mears tied for second with an 47. Ben Thomas Grate had the low score for Bronson with a 53.
