COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Officials at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility confirmed on Tuesday that two more residents have died from the COVID-19 virus.
They were a man and a woman. Both had tested positive for the Coronavirus and had multiple underlaying health conditions.
The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported on Tuesday that 17 Hillsdale County residents have died from COVID-19.
The C.H.A. says the number of positive cases in the tri-county jurisdiction as of 3:00 p.m. Tuesday includes 30 cases in St. Joseph County, 118 cases in Hillsdale County and 53 cases in Branch County.
The Calhoun County Public Health Department said on Tuesday there has been 209 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. Of the 53 requiring hospitalization, 17 are still in the hospital while 104 have been released from isolation and 87 have been released from quarantine.
